At BeSpritz UK, the Health and Safety and wellbeing of our clients, contractors and the public are our top priority.  We are committed to providing cleaning services that are safe, responsible and compliant with all relevant UK Health and Safety Laws, including the Health and Safety Act 1974 and COSHH (Control of substances Hazardous to Health) Regulations.

BeSpritz UK Responsibilites:

Our Commitments, is to advise only:

​

• To provide and maintain a safe and healthy working environment for all contractors and clients.

• To advise cleaner contractors of safe cleaning practices, correct product use and manual handling techniques, for a self-employed contractor.

• To use client’s safe, approved cleaning products with eco-friendly alternatives where possible.

• To be aware and advise risks in work areas and take measures to reduce them and advise clients/cleaning contractors of this.

• For the client to provide Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) if and when necessary.

• All cleaning contractors need to be aware of how to use cleaning products correctly in compliance with COSHH guidelines.

• To act immediately and to correct or report any hazards, accidents, or unsafe practices and inform the BeSpritz UK office, if a hazard, accident, unsafe practices occur.

• To make BeSpritz UK office aware of any previous damage of client’s property, before the clean and if any damage to the client’s property happens, after a clean.​

• To ensure open communication, so that contractors and clients can raise health and safety concerns freely. 

• We work with a “open door” policy and we are approachable and transparent with any queries, concerns, questions or feedback..

Contractors Responsibilities

All Cleaning Contractors of BeSpritz UK are advised to:

• Follow the guidance for best practise in safety procedures at all times.

• Use cleaning products and equipment safely and responsibly.

• Wear PPE, if necessary and needed by the client.

• Report any accidents, incidents, or hazards immediately to the BeSpritz UK office.

Client Responsibilities:

​

We kindly ask clients to please:

​

• Provide safe access to the property.

• Inform us of any hazards (eg loose flooring, faulty electrics, pets, or special product sensitivities, special products to be used on specific surfaces).

• Ensure hot/cold running water and electricity are available for the cleaning service.

Review and Monitoring

This statement will be reviewed annually and updated as needed to ensure ongoing compliance with Health and Safety regulations and the UK Law.
